Spiritual Retreat Safaris allow you to experience the pure natural energy of both the Sinai and our Mother Earth.  A land of pure, tranquil and natural beauty, Sinai remains largely untouched by modern civilisation, and is an idyllic location for contemplation, meditation and transformation.  It not difficult to believe that the desert plateaus and mountain wadis were created exclusively for this purpose.

From Yoga in the rays of the majestic Egyptian sunrise, to quiet contemplation in the silent desert expanse, our Spiritual Retreat Safaris will take you on a journey of self discovery, and offer a welcome break from the pressures of modern living.

See packages, or contact us for details and scheduled dates of our Spiritual Retreat Safaris, which are hosted by some of the worlds most renown teachers of Yoga.

The Desert Dweller Safari allows you to experience activities such as desert survival, land navigation and livestock handling, offering an insight into the history and culture of the region, and the indigenous Bedouin people.

The highlight of this one week safari involves two days living in the desert with a Bedouin Tribe, learning of their simplistic lifestyle which has remained untouched for over 2000 years and sharing hands-on experience of this daily life and all it involves.

We at Embah Safari recognise that the effects of tourism in such a delicate environment can be harmful and sometimes destructive to tribal traditions and to the desert environment.

We aim to help sustain traditional lifestyles in ways which are typical to the elder Bedouin, and to introduce a certain amount of modern facilities to attract the younger generations to continue living in the desert.

We work towards creating an awareness of the issues and effects involved in tourism and promote respect of the land and of this ancient culture.

A number of projects which work in conjunction with various Bedouin Tribes are currently in place and which allow you to join in on a practical level.

See about us for information on current projects, and packages for details and Itineraries of scheduled Embah Project Safaris.
